On Tuesday 10th March, a few members from SCLHRG visited the Coffin Works in the Jewellery Quarter area of Birmingham.

The Coffin Works is a Grade 2 listed building with an enclosed Courtyard and workshops containing stock and tools of the trade. With the original machinery working again, thanks to volunteers, we were able to experience how this old firm operated on a day to day basis, producing some of the world's finest coffin furniture.
