Castle Bromwich Hall
Castle Bromwich Hall

We have arranged a tour for Friday, 9th June starting at 2.00pm with William Dargue (of internet fame!) around the Castle Bromwich Conservation Area.

The tour will encompass the graveyard (opposite St Mary & St Margaret's Church), the castle mound, the church, and two or three old buildings nearby.

The tour takes about 1-1½ hours, finishing at Castle Bromwich Hall, where you can purchase a drink and a biscuit and look round if there is no event on; the long gallery is certainly worth seeing.

Afterwards, if you have any energy lefl, he will be happy to take any brave souls to the top of the church tower! It's a great view and well worth the climb! There are 99 steps on a spiral staircase.

There is car parking at Castle Bromwich Hall and we will meet there at 1.45pm.

The Tour is open to History Group members only. Please see the May Newsletter for booking and payment details.
