Middleton Hall
Middleton Hall

We have arranged a special visit for the group to Middleton Hall on Wednesday, 21st March, starting at 11.00am at a cost of £12.50 per person.

Access to the site is off the A4091, Tamworth Road. Please meet by the entrance hall.

The charge will include Tea & Coffee on arrival, an Introductory Talk and a Guided Tour of the Hall, in which you will find out more about the history of the Estate and the people who lived there. It also covers admission to the entire Estate for the whole day (11am-4pm) including the 42 acre gardens and grounds, a Site of Special Scientific Interest full of rare species of flora and fauna. Entrance to The Peel Museum is also included.

The Middleton Hall Restoration Trust advise us as follows:

There are multiple steep staircases, no lifts and areas of uneven ground. All tours will involve a considerable amount of walking, are up to 75 minutes long and are unsuitable for those with mobility limitations. However, we follow an inclusive practice and strive to ensure everyone gets the most out of their visit. The staircases all have handrails, there is the use of a wheelchair (one available) and there is an interactive tour available in the entrance. Appropriate clothing and footwear are advised.

If you think you will require the wheelchair, please let us know on the enclosed slip when you send your payment and return it to us immediately so that we can try and book it for you. However, there is no guarantee that we shall be able to do this. We will notify you if we are successful.

Within a stone's throw of the Hall is Middleton Hall Courtyard, where you can obtain refreshments and visit some of their unusual shops.

The visit is open to Group members only, who should complete the form on the recent Newsletter.
